    Levine Music is the Washington, DC region’s home for musical discovery. Founded in 1976, Levine provides music education and experiences for students of all ages, abilities, and interests through five campuses across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, as well as community partnerships throughout the region.     Levine Music seeks friendly, organized, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Part-Time Customer Relations Associates. In this front-facing role, you will serve as a key point of contact for students, families, faculty, and visitors, helping create a welcoming and supportive experience at our campuses.

    Position Summary

    The Customer Relations Associate provides essential front-line support by delivering friendly, accurate, and efficient service to students, families, faculty, and staff. This role is responsible for daily administrative tasks, clear and professional communication, and maintaining a welcoming environment at the campus. Through responsive customer service and attention to detail, the Associate helps ensure smooth campus operations and a positive experience for all community members.

    Duties and Responsibilities, not limited to the following:

    Campus Support

    • Serve as the front desk point of contact, creating a welcoming, professional environment and responding to calls, voicemails, and in-person inquiries with accurate information about programs, locations, and services.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Levine programs, classes, events, and website information to effectively assist customers.
    • Manage administrative operations, including room reservations, phone lists, mailboxes, and coordinating piano tuning requests.
    • Provide general support to faculty and staff, including event setup assistance and basic technology troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with front desk team members to ensure consistent coverage across shifts, including arranging substitutes for absences and vacancies.

    Event Support

    • Set up, attend, and provide on-site support for concerts, student recitals, and special events.
    • Organize event logistics, including equipment, warm-up rooms, and other site needs for studio recitals, master classes, lectures, and jams.
    • Create programs for student recitals.
    • Assist with campus events and programs during assigned evenings and weekends.

    Regular Schedule

      • Mondays: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
      • Fridays: 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
      • Saturdays: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

    Additional hours may be available to provide coverage for special events, staff absences, and other operational needs.

    Qualifications

    • Pleasant, professional phone manner and customer-facing demeanor.
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
    • Previous customer service experience required.
    • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic database proficiency.
    • Understanding of standard office practices and ability to multitask effectively.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Ability to lift and move chairs and foldable tables weighing up to 35 pounds and move large musical instruments for the purposes of campus events, with or without reasonable accommodation.

    Hourly Rate: $18.40
