We’re committed to equity and inclusion across race, gender, ability, immigration status, and lived experience. We strongly encourage applications from transgender, nonbinary, intersex, BIPOC, disabled, and formerly incarcerated people.

    About the Role

We're hiring an Advocacy Coordinator to join our small but mighty 3-person Advocacy team. This role supports our Microgrants Program, Safe Hotlines Campaign, and Resource Library, with a focus on community outreach, systems coordination, and data-informed organizing.

    What You’ll Do

    • Communicate with applicants and troubleshoot application and payment issues

    📣 Safe Hotlines Campaign

    • Assist with outreach, partnerships, and campaign materials
    • Organize supporter and partner data
    • Contribute to cross-team collaborations, equity efforts, and public speaking (as needed)

    🔍 Resource Library & Research

    • Support the refresh and maintenance of the internal and public-facing resource library
    • Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, onboard, and support volunteers
    • Provide admin support, including note-taking, contractor tracking, and managing invoices

    What We’re Looking For

    (Must-Haves)

    • Authorization to work in the U.S., 18+ years old, able to work remotely with a private workspace
    • 2 years experience with mutual aid, community grantmaking, or outreach
    • 2 years experience with project management
    • Detail-oriented and organized; able to juggle multiple systems
    • Proficiency with spreadsheets, database systems, Google Suite, and data entry
    • Strong written and verbal communication
    • Peer support and trauma-informed mindset
    • Cultural humility and anti-oppression values
    • Experience with trans, disability, and/or racial justice movements

    (Nice-to-Haves)

    • 1+ Year Experience managing volunteers or contractors
    • 1+ Year Experience financial record-keeping
