Position Summary:
National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) seeks a dynamic, strategic, and mission-driven Director of Marketing & Communications to lead and elevate our brand and expand the impact of our messaging, digital presence and advocacy voice., messaging, and storytelling. As a Jewish values-driven organization committed to advancing the rights and well-being of women, children, and families in the United States and Israel, we need a creative leader who can craft compelling narratives, expand our reach, and strengthen our moral voice in the public sphere.
The ideal candidate is a bold communicator, an innovative marketer, and a savvy strategist with a passion for changemaking. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role will oversee all aspects of branding, public relations, digital marketing, and external communications — ensuring that NCJW’s impact is widely recognized and deeply felt. They will lead a talented team, manage high-profile media relationships, and work cross-functionally to drive engagement, advocacy, and fundraising efforts. This position is ideally based in Washington, DC and directly oversees the Press Secretary and the Digital Communications Manager.

Salary and Benefits
Salary range: $130,000 – $150,000 annually — commensurate with experience.
Paid Federal and Jewish Holidays.
