Assistant Resident Manager – Women’s Sober Living

Pay: $25 per hour

Hours: 10–15 hours per week

Schedule: Flexible, with some on-call and after-hours availability required.

About the Position

Love Life is a faith-based women's sober living program looking for a dependable, compassionate Assistant Resident Manager who has an active Christian faith and a heart for helping women in recovery.

This person will work alongside the Resident Manager to support residents, help with house operations, and provide backup when needed. We're looking for someone who is encouraging, reliable, and passionate about helping women grow in their faith, recovery, and everyday lives.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Resident Manager to support residents and daily house needs.
• Be available as a backup contact for emergencies or urgent situations when the Resident Manager is unavailable.
• Fill in when the Resident Manager is away, helping with resident orientations, individual meetings, and community meetings.
• Help address resident concerns and provide guidance and encouragement.
• Assist with maintaining house rules, sobriety requirements, curfews, chores, and random drug testing.
• Help review new resident applications and participate in interviews and resident decisions when needed.
• Meet regularly with the Resident Manager to discuss resident progress and house needs.
• Help organize recovery programs, life-skills classes, and other activities that support residents.
• Participate in community meetings and Bible studies.
• Occasionally assist residents with transportation to appointments, work, or other needs.

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith and a heart for recovery ministry.
• Compassionate, dependable, and able to build positive relationships while maintaining healthy boundaries.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable handling difficult situations with patience and good judgment.
• Willingness to be flexible and available for occasional evenings, weekends, and emergencies.
• Experience in recovery ministry, sober living, mentoring, or residential support is preferred but not required.
