Studio in a School (Studio) seeks a highly motivated, collaborative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist). As the primary contact for HR operations for administrative employees and artist instructors, the HR Generalist will support recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, training, benefits administration, leave management, compliance, and HRIS improvements and maintenance. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various domains of HR operations and compliance in a union environment while contributing to the growth and success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, flexible, and eager to learn.
This is a full-time, exempt, non-union position, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

Location
We are currently working on a hybrid schedule. The Human Resources Generalist will be asked to work at least 2 days per week in our office at 75 West End Avenue, New York, NY, or in the field, though this schedule may shift and evolve.

Pay Rate
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$75,000.
