    Position Summary

    The Mid-Level Giving Manager provides hands-on support for the execution and day-to-day operations of the Leadership Circle, which engages donors contributing between $1,000 and $4,999 annually. This role blends front-line donor engagement, campaign coordination and project management. This includes one-to-few cultivation of new and existing Leadership Circle donors; overseeing multi-channel communications for Leadership Circle donors and prospects; using data analysis to develop strategies for acquisition, retention and upgrade; and identifying prospects for major gifts.

    The position reports to the Donor Data Analysis Senior Manager and is an Arlington, VA based, flexible hybrid working role. There is no weekly in-office requirement, however the ability to visit the office as needed is required.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Support achievement of annual Leadership Circle revenue and retention targets.
    • Conduct routine appreciation and stewardship efforts by phone, mail and email informed by gift recency and engagement history.
    • Support Donor Data Analysis Senior Manager in setting, tracking and analyzing program metrics to identify trends and refine stewardship strategies to improve efforts
    • Collaborate with Digital Marketing team on multi-channel cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of Leadership Circle donors via email, SMS and social media
    • Coordinate message alignment in campaigns for this audience across channels (mail, email, telemarketing, SMS, paid media).
    • Coordinate closely between telemarketing and direct mail vendors and internal teams to ensure the strategies for Leadership Circle are executed seamlessly, and on time.
    • Support segmentation, coding, and list review processes for campaigns.
    • Collaborate with Major Gifts team to identify, qualify and hand off prospects for increased giving
    • Ensure timely and accurate recording of donor information and activities in the donor database EveryAction.
    • Use EveryAction as a strategic tool for reporting, pipeline management, metrics and moves management.
    • Participate in regular strategy sessions and team meetings to share insights and contribute to the overall success of the fundraising program.
    • Collaborate with team members across the organization to develop and advance strategies designed to retain, engage, and grow a diverse donor base.
    • Keep abreast of relevant industry trends and best practices in mid-level giving, annual giving and senior hunger and isolation.

    Qualifications or Skills Required

    • 3-5 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or a related field. Experience working with individual donors preferred.
    • Direct experience communicating with donors or members over phone, email, and virtually.
    • Direct experience soliciting donors, preferred.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to proofread and commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Experience using fundraising databases and tools. Familiarity with EveryAction a plus.
    • Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of people, including donors, vendors, the public, and staff
