Reports to: Executive Director, NCPA Foundation
Location: Remote; (hybrid if located within commuting distance of the NCPA office)
Compensation: $43,000 – $48,000/year + benefits (health, dental, vision, and retirement contributions), commensurate with experience
Classification: Full-Time, (Exempt), 37.5 hours/week (Requires evening availability for program sessions)
About the NCPA Foundation
Founded in 1953, the NCPA Foundation is the only foundation in the United States dedicated exclusively to supporting independent community pharmacy profession. Through scholarships, programming, and strategic grantmaking, we work to ensure the sustainability and growth of independent community pharmacy — particularly in rural and underserved communities where community pharmacists are often the most accessible healthcare provider.
We are a small, high-impact team in a pivotal moment of organizational growth. The Foundation has more than doubled its annual revenue over the past two fiscal years and is expanding its programmatic reach with initiatives including the Rural Pharmacy Ownership Accelerator.
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator is a high-energy, mission-driven "go-getter" responsible for the success of the NCPA Foundation’s core programmatic initiatives. This role is primarily focused on executing program strategies that support healthcare access and small business success. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, tech-savvy professional who thrives when working autonomously and leading meetings or workshops. This role is a great opportunity for someone who is hoping to grow quickly in the nonprofit sector with the opportunity to gain a multitude of skills and experiences!
Employment Structure: This position is employed through the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) for payroll and benefits administration purposes only and is leased to the NCPA Foundation at 100% of the employee’s time. The Foundation Program Coordinator is fully dedicated to and directed by the NCPA Foundation and its Executive Director.

Work-Life Balance: Generally expected to work 37.5 hours/week, compared to other organizations that require 40!
Extended Holiday Break: The office closes for two weeks in December, allowing you crucial time to recharge & reset.
