About us; Swift Sports Organisation ( SSO) started in a very humble way with 4 single mothers who caught the vision introduced by a coach.
The young single mothers were under depression,stress,fears, lonely due to different circumstances like poverty,many responsibilities without support or any future guarantee of a better life.
It all commenced by gathering every evening to do physical fitness and netball training.
Vision stirred , excited women to the future hope,women who came 4 for fun,gathering eventually attracted many up to 86 members within one year.
Later Swift superladies netball club reproduced other clubs according to age groups ( Swift kids club,Swift superladies netball club,Swift Teens club and Swift mixed club) all these clubs engage in netball and football activities.
In 2022 we recognized that it was important to become a community based organization as a way to evolve in development of our community.
Uganda's majority population is between ages 8 years and 40 years ( children and young people) The majority population is the one unemployed,school dropouts,single mothers, ghetto youth.
We are registered as a community based organization; Registration Name & No: swift sports organisation NMC/CBO/1766/25. Uganda has two channels of nonprofit organizations registration and operations; NGOs those who registered by National NGO body to operate country wide and CBOs register at Division or Municipality level to operate in a community at division or district. CBOs they receive a certificate which is renewed every after two years.
We are looking for a project partner who is willing to support us implement a piggery project. We are looking forward to set up a piggery project to sustain sports activities and administration like play ground annual fee, league registration,office rent , allowances and utilities.
We need someone who has ever engaged with CBOs with high capability to find donors, fundraising,project structuring and management.
