The Director of Development & Communications is a key leadership role responsible for advancing the mission of CAS through strategic fundraising, donor engagement, and compelling communications. This position oversees all aspects of fundraising, including major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, special events, and membership programs, while leading the organization's brand messaging and digital presence. The ideal candidate is a dynamic storyteller, skilled fundraiser for gifts of all sizes, and strategic thinker with a passion for animal welfare and plant-based living.

Situated on approximately 100 acres of mixed pasture and forest in Saugerties, New York, CAS welcomes farmed animals from life-and-death situations and provides exceptional individualized care for the remainder of their lives.
