Rebuilding Together is hiring for a Program Manager position. The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing up to two Block Build volunteer events each year. Block Builds take place over a Friday and Saturday and support critical repairs for 8–10 homes with the help of approximately 100–150 volunteers.
In addition to managing Block Build projects, the Program Manager oversees repairs for a total of 35 homes annually. This includes conducting home inspections, developing scopes of work, and hiring and coordinating contractors to complete repairs.
The ideal Program Manager brings a blend of construction knowledge and project management experience, enabling them to evaluate homes, manage repair projects from start to finish, and complete all required compliance and reporting. The role is estimated to be 70% office-based, focused on developing work scopes, coordinating with community partners, scheduling projects, and tracking progress. The remaining 30% of time is spent in the field conducting home evaluations, meeting with homeowners and contractors, and completing final inspections.
