As a key member of the Leadership Team, the Corporate Counsel will efficiently and effectively administer the legal affairs of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids and Global Health Advocacy Incubator (the Organization) by providing professional, timely, and valuable legal advice and services. The Counsel’s role is to minimize liability exposure by recommending and implementing appropriate policies, practices, and procedures. This role provides timely and accurate advice on a variety of legal topics including staffing obligations and risks, risk management, board governance, contracts, and lobbying. Acting as the Organization’s primary legal practitioner for organizational issues, the Counsel has responsibility for all legal business operations and selective global compliance and operational issues.
