Job Description
Scan-Harbor Family Renewal Center is seeking a dynamic Social Worker to provide core services within a Prevention/Substance Abuse Treatment Program in the South Bronx, New York. Social Workers/Case Planners assist caretakers in meeting their children's needs, prevent abuse/maltreatment, help to enhance parenting skills, and assist families with other concrete services needs.
Qualifications:
Social Workers/Case Planners must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field to provide case management and advocacy services. In addition, experience working with children and families; strong organizational skills, high attention to details, effective communication skills, computer proficiency and knowledge of ACS Prevention Services and case planning applications - Connections and PROMIS are a plus.
