CommonLit is a nonprofit education technology organization dedicated to ensuring that all students, especially students in Title I schools, graduate with the reading, writing, communication, and problem-solving skills they need to be successful in college and beyond. We envision a world where all students get the opportunity to have a world class education. We operate an online reading program for grades 3-12, www.CommonLit.org, that is used by teachers in over 90,000 American schools.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Print Manager to oversee the print product line in conjunction with the Chief Product Officer and lead the end-to-end execution of our print initiatives. This role will advise on the strategy and vision for the print product line, while owning the development and management of production schedules, proactively track milestones, and mitigate risks to ensure print projects are delivered on time and within budget. As the central point of coordination across internal teams, print vendors, and customers, this individual will oversee file preparation, proof review cycles, logistics, and final delivery. They will ensure all materials meet quality, brand, and instructional standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
This role also serves as a primary point of contact for customers regarding our print products (in coordination with customers’ account managers), providing clear and consistent communication regarding timelines, specifications, and delivery expectations. They oversee shipping schedules and logistics to guarantee on-time delivery, proactively identifying and resolving any production or distribution issues while communicating transparent resolution plans to stakeholders.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, customer communication, and production excellence.
