Bilingual Senior Social Worker- Intake (LCSW)

SPOP is seeking a full-time bilingual English/Spanish LCSW for the position of Senior Social Worker. The SSW provides direct clinical services and is responsible for facilitating admission for older adults with mental health needs into SPOP’s Article 31 Clinic. The Senior Social Worker operates within the Intake department and conducts psychosocial assessments, makes treatment recommendations and supports linkage to the most appropriate levels of care. This is a hybrid position, working three days/week on site at our Upper West Side location and two days/week remotely. No evenings, weekends or after-hours coverage required.

The ideal candidate demonstrates great warmth, has strong diagnostic and clinical skills, thrives working as part of a team and is highly organized. They should be passionate about making mental health services accessible for older adults.

Requirements:

1. Active New York State Social Work licensure (LCSW)
2. Bilingual English/Spanish language required.
3. 3+ years clinical experience working with older adults within a behavioral health setting strongly preferred.
4. Strong technological skills, ideally with Electronic Health Records.
