    Descripción

    MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

    Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Volunteer & Program Senior Manager implements daily undertakings of the CFA volunteer program to attract, train and deploy volunteers in support of CFA’s operations. Motivates and inspires volunteers to strengthen CFA’s capacity to support its various programs and ensure sites operate efficiently.Runs the Home Delivery Program and organic garden. Responsible for partner programs with external organizations and collaborates with and participates in all events.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Launch and maintain volunteer software program for on-line scheduling, tracking hours, application submissions and more.
    • Manage volunteer inquiries, screen and monitor placements of volunteers.
    • Schedule during non-traditional hours and weekends to always ensure slots are filled.
    • Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities.
    • Communicate with the volunteer pool regarding facility closings, traffic delays, inclement weather, shifting times, construction, site repairs and other important communications as needed.
    • Provide volunteer guidelines, procedural updates, changes to deadlines, available slots to site managers and scheduling staff.
    • Interact daily with sites to determine fluctuating needs for distribution or special events.
    • Serves as a source of contact for volunteer’s concerns.
    • Plan and implement volunteer recognition events.
    • Provide documentation of hours for all student volunteers.
    • Maintain the volunteer database and submit monthly and annual reports.
    • Manages external partner programs with hospitals, community organizations, corporate contacts, grant funding, and donors to provide additional guest services and resources as assigned.
    • Manage CFA’s Home Delivery program including multiple drivers and one external team.
    • Run delivery reports, adjust schedules, deal with delivery guest issues and complaints, increase/decrease slots based on need.
    • Learn Pantryoft, a scheduling CRM to access guest data, delivery data and reporting.
    • Create and supervise volunteer opportunities known as Days of Service for various sectors including education, religious, civic, and corporate with the goal of creating partnerships and garnering broader support for CFA’s mission.
    • Supervise CFA’s Organic Garden Program, implementing the organization’s nutritional goals with true farm-to-table produce. Procure supplies and track budgets.
    • Strategize weekly and attend all CFA events during non-traditional work hours and weekends.

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Deputy Director.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • 3-5 years of experience managing programs.
    • Microsoft office suite proficiency.
    • CRM experience (Bloomerang preferred)
    • Must be passionate about the organization’s missions and its impact on the community.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Experience with recruiting and selecting volunteers and/or employees.
    • Experience managing programs for a non-profit organization.
