The Executive Director is the chief leader of Afterschool Programs of Lancaster (APOL), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Reporting
to the Board of Directors, this position oversees operations, programs, fundraising, financial management, and community
partnerships to advance APOL’s mission.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Board to guide strategic direction
Lead fundraising and revenue development initiatives
Manage budgeting and financial operations with the CFO
Supervise and support staff
Represent APOL in the community and with key partners
Build relationships with Lancaster City School District and local organizations
Oversee marketing, communications, and strategic planning
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 5 years of senior nonprofit management experience
Proven success in fundraising and financial oversight
Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning abilities
Knowledge of Federal 21st Century funding preferred
