𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

This is a senior leadership role at AICUP, with principal responsibility for overseeing AICUP’s business efficiency and cost savings programs for member institutions. This position primarily involves managing vendor-driven, cost-savings programs, fostering relationships with members and corporate affiliates, and exploring new business opportunities that align with AICUP's mission.

This Vice President oversees the development and administration of 29 vendor-driven cost-savings programs. These and other staff-driven programs of AICUP generate a 33:1 ROI on membership dues. Seven vendor-driven programs generate savings that exceed the aggregate dues of AICUP members. This Vice President secures favorable agreements for AICUP and its members and identifies high-margin programs that generate savings for member schools and revenue streams for AICUP.

Reports to the President as well as staff and provides direction to the AICUP Member Services Committee and participates quarterly in AICUP Board of Directors meetings, providing updates on program performance and strategic initiatives. Cultivates strong relationships with member institutions, encouraging active participation in programs and committees.

Recruits and engages corporate affiliates, expanding the network of partners that support AICUP's mission. Promotes the development of leveraged programs, such as the AICUP Member Preferred Program and AICUP Board-Endorsed programs, to maximize benefits for members. Communicates the value of AICUP's Business Efficiency Programs and develops new collaborative business ideas. Depending on qualifications, this Vice President may also assist the President in developing and monitoring AICUP’s budgets, and supervising the AICUP Accounting Manager who is responsible for A/P, A/R, payroll, tax filings, audit coordination and all financial reporting.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

• General understanding of financial and program operations, with a preference for experience with nonprofit and higher education operations.
• Financial management, nonprofit compliance, and administrative leadership.
• Experience in program management, contract negotiation, and/or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse groups, including senior executives, vendors, and member representatives in various specialties.
• Strategic thinker, interested in developing and implementing new initiatives that drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Bachelor’s required, CPA, MBA or other Masters preferred, but not required.

Base salary $115,000 depending on experience.
