One Fair Wage is a national organization leading the movement to end the subminimum wage and raise wages for service workers across the United States. We organize workers, run ballot initiatives, support high-road employers, and fight for policy change at the local, state, and federal levels.
We are scaling quickly across multiple states and need a strong database manager to bring structure, integrity, and strategic oversight to our EveryAction system.
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive EveryAction Database Manager to oversee, clean, and optimize our CRM infrastructure across C3, C4, and other entities. This role is critical to ensuring accurate reporting, clean targeting, proper segmentation, and strong data hygiene across organizing, development, communications, and ballot initiative programs.
You will help build the backbone of a multi-state national campaign infrastructure.
Core Responsibilities
Database Management & Integrity
- Maintain and optimize EveryAction across parent and subcommittees (C3 & C4)
- Standardize coding, source codes, tags, activist codes, and custom fields
- Conduct regular data audits and deduplication
- Build and maintain import templates and quality control processes
Reporting & Analytics
- Create dashboards and recurring reports for:
- Track KPIs including volunteer recruitment, donor acquisition, voter contact, and petition signatures
- Support cost-per-acquisition and cost-per-signature tracking
Cross-Department Support
- Work with organizing, development, communications, and digital teams
- Ensure proper integration with tools such as:
- Scale to Win
- Mobilize
- Empower
- Google Suite
- Troubleshoot sync and data flow issues
Process & Training
- Develop SOPs for data entry and reporting
- Train staff on best practices in EveryAction
- Establish naming conventions and governance policies
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years experience managing EveryAction
- Experience in political campaigns, advocacy organizations, unions, or nonprofits
- Strong understanding of:
- CRM architecture
- Data hygiene
- Reporting logic
- Compliance considerations (C3/C4 separation)
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving campaign environment
- Strong problem solver who builds systems, not just patches them
- Familiarity with ballot initiative or field programs preferred
Compensation & Structure
- Part-time independent contractor
- 15–25 hours per week
- Flexible hours (must overlap some EST time)
- Remote position
