About the Executive Assistant to the President Role:
BRIC seeks an Executive Assistant to manage the President’s calendar and meetings with a focus on efficiency and seamless coordination. The role also includes assisting with administrative tasks and projects while supporting collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do in the Role:
The Executive Assistant to the President will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the President:
- Manage the President’s calendar: schedule meetings, send reminders, prepare materials.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and assist with project management: organize task lists, strategic planning ideas, etc.
- Prioritize the President’s time. Help to limit distractions and focus only on the most pressing issues and highest leverage activities.
- Maintain current contact list, correspondence records, and other key documents.
- Make travel arrangements for the President.
- Prepare letters, presentations, and other documents for the President.
- Prepare expense reports and credit card reconciliations for the President.
- Manage all logistics of meetings for the President: both remote and virtual.
- Liaise with the BRIC Board of Directors and committee chairs to coordinate and schedule Board and committee meetings.
- Support effective communication and alignment between the President, C-Suite executives, and their teams.
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff to maximize the efficiency of the President’s office.
- Collaborate with the CRO to provide support in their interactions with the Board.
- Work on other special projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Administrative Experience. Three years experience in a related administrative position. Experience working in Google Suite.
- Communication & Relationship Building: An emotionally intelligent, values- and results-driven team player who can collaborate across departments and at all levels of the organization. A highly skilled communicator and relationship builder.
- Commitment to Equity & Inclusion: Brings experience operationalizing equity within this role.
- Other Skills & Experience:
- Demonstrated commitment to the spirit and practice of collaboration, both within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- Experience working with and managing a nonprofit board, including facilitating effective communication, ensuring compliance, and supporting the board’s fiduciary responsibilities.
- Proficiency in using emerging AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Notebook, Copilot, and related platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and MacOS/iOS environments.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $45K - $50K.
- Status and location: This is a full-time, exempt role based in our Brooklyn office.
