NJ LEEP works to close the educational equity gap by partnering with first-generation and low-income students from the greater Newark area to build skills and offer experiences to achieve their college and career ambitions. NJ LEEP currently serves middle school students, high school students, college students, and their family members. Through a wide range of educational programs, we offer students the opportunity to develop their academic, professional, and social-emotional skills. NJ LEEP’s model is challenging, rigorous, and prepares all program graduates for success in college and beyond, regardless of their academic starting point. POSITION OVERVIEW
The part-time School-Based Program Instructor will report to the Director of School-Based Programs and will be responsible for teaching an after-school college access course for up to 30 students and being a helpful and proactive resource for students in the college application process, as well as preparing them for expectations that await them in college.
We are seeking two instructors each for 11th grade programming at Central High School and East Side High School. Instructor training will begin in December 2025 and student programming will begin in January 2026.
