KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Governors Island Foundation (GIF) engages a diverse portfolio of corporate partners in the stewardship and enjoyment of Governors Island, including by planning corporate volunteer outings in partnership with the Trust for Governors Island (TGI) Horticulture and Operations teams.
The Governors Island Foundation seeks a seasonal Corporate Volunteer Associate to assist with planning and coordination of group volunteer projects on Governors Island. The Corporate Volunteer Associate position provides an opportunity to gain experience in nonprofit corporate fundraising, program coordination, event planning and execution, communications, relationship management, and administration. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about public spaces and the value they bring to urban environments, with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $25 per hour
Location and Schedule: All positions are located on Governors Island. The position is in-person (five-day work week). Ideally, applicant is available to work from mid-March through the end of October.
