LOCATION / WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must reside in either Sacramento, CA or Los Angeles, CA. This position works a hybrid schedule with two days per week in the office and three days remote. Occasional additional time may be needed during open enrollment or periods of higher hiring activity.

SALARY RANGE:
Band 7: $73,862 to $84,754 annually

ABOUT THE HUMAN RESOURCES PARTNER POSITION
The Human Resources Partner at Disability Rights California supports the daily operations of the Human Resources department. Our 300+ employees are located throughout the State of California.
This role focuses primarily on benefits coordination and benefits reconciliation, helping ensure employee benefits are administered accurately and that benefit invoices match payroll earnings and deductions. The position also provides front-line HR support to employees and people managers and assists with recruiting coordination, onboarding, employee record updates, and HR service requests.
This is an operational role within the HR team. The Human Resources Partner works closely with payroll, finance, hiring managers, and benefits vendors to keep HR processes organized and ensure employees receive timely and accurate support.

This position works under general supervision from the Director of Human Resources or their designee. The Human Resources Partner manages assigned responsibilities, prioritizes daily work, and completes tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.
The role requires thoughtful problem solving and independent review of routine HR and benefits questions. At the same time, success in this role requires collaboration. The HR Partner works closely with the HR team, accounting, and other departments and must be comfortable asking questions, sharing information, and contributing to solutions.
This role requires someone who is organized, collaborative, flexible, and committed to supporting team priorities.
