    Position Summary:

    The Allen-Stevenson School seeks an energetic, dynamic, and visionary educational leader to assume the role of Head of Lower Division beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. The Head of Lower Division oversees all aspects of Grades K-4 in addition to Cornerstones, our Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program. This is a highly visible, senior administrative position, reporting directly to the Head of School and serving as an integral member of the school’s Administrative Team.

    The Head of Lower Division will provide comprehensive leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the Lower Division, ensuring a best-in-class and developmentally appropriate educational experience for approximately 200 boys in grades TK-4. This individual will serve as a dedicated steward of the school's mission, cultivate a positive and inclusive learning culture, and act as the primary liaison for Lower Division families, playing a critical role in nurturing relationships that are vital for sustained enrollment and retention efforts.
