    JOB SUMMARY:

    Under the supervision of the Directorof Grant Management, the CSEC Statewide Program Manager will promote and support the multidisciplinary team (MDT) response to commercial sexual exploitation of children(CSEC) based at the 12 Children’s AdvocacyCenters (CACs) across the state.

    The position will coordinate efforts and activities to ensure that the CAC-basedMDT response remains central to intervention and service provision. The office for this position is located at 11 BeaconStreet in Boston, MA, however the position can be located anywhere within the state. Travel within the state, including to the Boston office on occasion, is required.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Liaise with external partners on the federal, state, and local level, and represent MACA and CACs in state and local forums, meetings, and trainings relevant to CSEC,
    • Provide support and coordination for regular forums, to include county-level forums and Leadership Advisory Board Meetings of state and federal agency leadership
    • Conduct appropriate specialized training and technical assistance for a network of local coordinators working directly with children and youth victims of, or at high risk for, CSEC, as well as MDT stakeholders.
    • Lead rollout of statewideMDT CSEC core standards of practice and assist programs in meeting standards; oversee program evaluation and liaise with research and evaluation partners,
    • Maintain a resource directory of specialized service providers and CSEC/trafficking interventions; conduct outreach and broker connections on an ongoing basis with service providers,
    • Track relevant federal/state legislation regarding CSEC/trafficking,
    • Actively maintain program related data,
    • Other duties as required: Please note that the Massachusetts Children’s Alliance is an expanding agency with many exciting start-up projects and activities which require flexibility. This job posting provides a general overview but not an exhaustive description of the duties required.

    MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PREFERENCES:

    • Minimum of bachelor's degree in related field,
    • Knowledge in all or some of the following areas is required: Children’s Advocacy Centers, multidisciplinary team approach in the investigation of child abuse, child welfare system, criminal justice system, commercial sexual exploitation of children; professional experience in these areas preferred,
    • Commitment to supporting the CAC/MDT response to child abuse,
    • Solid verbal and written communication skills,
    • Demonstrated experience with public speaking,
    • Familiarity with Excel, Qualtrics, and/or other tools for data collection and analysis is preferred,
    • Personal qualities including dedicated, critical thinking skills, ability to multi-task, adaptable/flexible, deals well under pressure, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, sense of humor, ability to work autonomously, strong interpersonal skills.

    REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:

    • Must be ready to work in a professional environment,
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with many different constituencies,
    • Must be skilled in communicating effectively both in writing and verbally,
    • Must possess excellent organizational skills as well as a sensitivity to diversity,
    • Must demonstrate flexibility, good judgment and be able to work independently,
    • Must hold a current driver’s license.
