Project Overview

Secure World Foundation is seeking a reliable Webflow specialist to help maintain and grow our company website on a limited contract basis. This is not a ground-up build — the site is live and established. We need someone who can keep it running smoothly, looking sharp, and up to date.

This role is execution heavy. The majority of the work involves hands-on, page-level front-end development: building new pages, iterating on existing templates, implementing experiments, and translating design intent into production-ready Webflow builds. At the same time, the contractor is expected to apply system-aware judgment so that rapid execution does not degrade shared components, CMS structures, or overall site maintainability. This project requires a strong Webflow builder with good design instincts who also understands how their work fits into a larger site ecosystem.

Scope of Work (Primary Responsibilities)

Part 1: Immediate Priorities

• Complete a defined punchlist of visual, layout, and usability fixes on an existing Webflow site.
• Review and improve website search functionality.
• Resolve selected CMS, component, template, and collection issues.
• Review forms and contact flows to make sure submissions route properly to intended destinations (e.g., email marketing platforms).
• Support targeted fixes related to responsiveness, layout consistency, and production QA.

Part 2: Search and functionality troubleshooting

• Review current website search behavior and identify causes for poor/incorrect performance.
• Recommend and implement practical solutions, where possible, to improve search results.

Part 3: SEO, Search Visibility, and AI Readiness

• Implement practical on-page SEO improvements across existing and new pages in Webflow.
• Recommend CMS, template, and workflow improvements that make future content easier to optimize and maintain.
• Improve on-site search performance so users can more reliably find relevant and current content

Part 4: CMS, components, and templates

• Create or update Webflow components and reusable page patterns as needed
• Improve consistency and maintainability without unnecessarily reworking the broader site architecture

Part 5:. Analytics Support

• Analytics Enablement: Support GTM and analytics instrumentation needs as they relate to page builds and experiments.
• Measurement Safety: Ensure page-level changes do not compromise tracking accuracy or test validity.

Contractor Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of professional web development experience, with strong hands-on experience building Webflow pages and templates at scale.
• Webflow Strength: Proven ability to execute quickly in Webflow while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Front-End Skills: Strong HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals (responsive layouts, flexbox/grid).
• Substantive experience with Webflow CMS, GTM, VWO, Google Ads, and GA4, or similar tools.
• Contractor should be able to document changes, flag risks before making structural updates, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional Independence: Contractor determines hours, methods, and workflows required to meet agreed deliverables.
• Tools & Equipment: Contractor provides their own equipment.

Project Success Metrics

Success will be evaluated based on:

• The initial website punch list is completed accurately and with good attention to detail.
• Improvements in search results, based on scope discussion with SWF at the beginning of the contract
• Website updates are made without breaking other pages, templates, styles, or site functions
• SEO, metadata, and content structure improvements are implemented in practical ways that improve discoverability
• The contractor communicates clearly, flags problems early, and works well with SWF staff
• The contractor provides useful recommendations for future improvements without overcomplicating the site

Scope & Commitment

This is a contract engagement, estimated at 50 hours over 8 weeks, offering $50-$70 per hour. Ideal for someone who manages multiple Webflow clients and can fold us into their workflow. We are starting with a smaller task to make sure the fit is right, but this will be an ongoing development position, so we are looking for a long-term contractor.
