Position Mission
The King County Bar Association (KCBA) and the King County Bar Foundation (KCBF) seeks a highly collaborative, strategic, and independently motivated individual to use their talents within organizational planning, fundraising, budgeting, and outreach to build meaningful awareness within communities. This charismatic individual will shape our newest role to help us build an inspiring development program grounded in our mission.
KCBA Mission: The King County Bar Association (KCBA) promotes and supports a diverse and collegial membership; works with the judiciary to achieve excellence, equity, and accessibility in the administration of justice; and benefits the community through public service and engagement in public policy.
KCBF Mission: The King County Bar Foundation (KCBF) is a 501(c)3 fundraising organization managed by KCBA whose mission is to promote access to the legal system and to advance diversity in the legal profession.
The Development Director will play a crucial role as a core executive team member within the leadership team at KCBA/KCBF. This position will be responsible for taking the steps to ensure the nonprofit organizations are hitting their fundraising milestones, adhering to annual budgets, and identifying future fundraising opportunities that are necessary for continued sustainable growth. This position reports to the Executive Director.

POSITION DETAILS
This is an exempt full-time position requiring occasional local travel within King County. Salary range is $110,000-$124,000 annually. The position is currently hybrid in the Puget Sound region (both in-person and remote) and includes some evening and weekend events. The position may transition to a permanent in-person position subject to changes in office policy.
