    Bilingual Engagement Coordinator

RegenerationLA seeks to hire a Bilingual Engagement Coordinator to support technical assistance, educational, and demonstration projects for small scale farmers, with a focus on Latino farmers across Monterey, Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Santa Clara counties.

The Engagement Coordinator will work directly with farmers through outreach, event and workshop coordination, and technical assistance support. This role centers farmer relationships, community based partnerships, and market connection efforts, while also providing administrative and reporting support to ensure program effectiveness. The Coordinator serves as a key bridge between farmers, buyers, nonprofit partners, and the RegenerationLA team.

This position is ideal for someone who is highly relational, bilingual, and comfortable working directly with farmers, while also tracking data, supporting events, and helping grow a values aligned market network. The role is primarily remote, with in person engagement required for events, farm visits, and community outreach, as needed.

The Engagement Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director.

    Core Responsibilities and Time Allocation

(40%) Farmer Engagement, Outreach, and Support: Maintain regular communication with participating and prospective farmers to understand their needs, challenges, and goals. Support farmers through coordination, reminders, and follow up related to workshops, deadlines, and program participation. Serve as a trusted point of contact and connect farmers to resources, technical assistance, or staff as needed. Document farmer interactions and key insights to inform program improvements.

(25%) Events and Workshops Support: Support the planning and coordination of workshops, field days, and community events. Assist with farmer communications, registration, attendance tracking, and follow up. Provide on site support during in person events, including setup, coordination, and participant engagement. Represent the Marigold Collective at community events, workshops, and meetings as needed.

(20%) Community Engagement and Market Development: Support outreach to potential buyers, including retailers, florists, cultural event organizers, and community based sales channels. Assist the Executive Director and Program Manager in building relationships with nonprofit partners and community organizations. Help coordinate connections between farmers and buyers when appropriate, including information sharing and follow up. Strengthen the visibility and presence of the Marigold Collective within the broader community.

(15%) Data Gathering, Administration, and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of farmer participation, outreach efforts, and partnerships. Track program activities and outcomes related to engagement, events, and market connections. Prepare summaries and reports on program progress, farmer needs, and community engagement. Support grant reporting, proposals, and internal documentation as needed.
