East Asia ESG Disclosures Research Consultancy

SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

We are seeking a consultant with expertise in ESG listing requirements and disclosure frameworks across major East Asian stock exchanges to provide training and advisory support to our research team. Specifically, we are looking for guidance on:

• The structure of ESG reporting guidelines across relevant exchanges
• How disclosure obligations apply to material risks, including government regulatory actions and enforcement proceedings in host countries
• Common reporting practices and conventions among listed companies in the natural resources sector
• Recent and anticipated regulatory developments affecting ESG disclosure in the region

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Candidates should have substantive professional experience with ESG listing rules and disclosure requirements in East Asia, through roles in law, compliance, investment analysis, or ESG consulting. Experience with the mining or extractives sector is preferred. Familiarity with the operations of companies operating in emerging market contexts is a plus.

ENGAGEMENT FORMAT

The engagement will involve a series of briefings and the production of a practical reference document covering what listed companies are required to report, what is discretionary, and where common gaps or omissions tend to appear. We anticipate a focused, time-limited engagement. Confidentiality is expected.
