    Partnership to End Addiction is a national non-profit organization dedicated to ending the addiction crisis.     We're seeking a creative Senior Designer to join our team and help shape our organization's visual identity. As our Senior Designer, you'll work closely with our marketing and communications teams, along with staff at all levels across the organization. Given the sensitivity of our work, we are seeking a compassionate professional who can effectively communicate with empathy for those we serve. This position requires independent judgment, problem-solving and project management skills, and flexibility, as final designs will be the result of a collaborative effort with colleagues to deliver creative design solutions. Experience with an agency and/or in health, behavioral health, addiction treatment, or mental health fields is a plus.

    Responsibilities of the Job Include:

    • Demonstrate and reflect the mission and values of the organization
    • Proactively coordinate and collaborate with colleagues to fulfill mission and objectives of the job
    • Create and produce a wide range of visual design assets, including:
      • Social media content and ads, website graphics, email campaigns, and print materials
      • Layout of annual report, impact reports, brochures, and other collateral
      • Support for program teams with visual communication needs (one-pagers, flyers, presentations)
      • Develop storyboards and lead creative direction for in-house videos across social platforms
    • Research and implement design best practices to improve engagement
    • Meet regularly with communications, marketing, subject matter experts, and executives to understand their needs and develop creative solutions
    • Develop mock-ups and presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to stakeholders
    • Lead the maintenance of our brand guidelines and centralized design asset library
    • Process and optimize photos for internal communications and various platforms
    • Manage relationships with freelancers and external vendors, including videographers and photographers
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of experience in digital design with successful increase in responsibility
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating creative concepts across various media
    • Technical Skills
      • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign
      • Experience with Getty Images and photo editing
      • Familiarity with project management tools (Microsoft Teams, Asana or similar)
    • Design Expertise
      • Strong understanding of design fundamentals including color theory, typography, and composition
      • Excellence in storytelling through visual design
      • Detail-oriented with attention to quality
    • Professional Qualities
      • Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision
      • Proactive communication skills
      • Embraces collaborative work and iterative design processes
      • Constructively incorporates feedback into designs

    This is a hybrid role. Senior Designer will work in the New York City office at least one day per week.
