    Descripción

The mission of Read Alliance is to accelerate the educational trajectory of early elementary students through the power of teens who provide one-to-one literacy tutoring in under-resourced communities. Read Alliance’s dual-impact model addresses the achievement gap for young students while engaging youth in serving their communities as paid reading tutors. Established in 2000, Read Alliance is a not-for-profit corporation that improves the chances for academic success of children we serve by ensuring they possess the reading skills necessary to read on grade level by third grade.

Over the past 26 years, Read Alliance’s dual impact intervention program has proved to make a significant difference in the long-term success of the students and youth it has served. More than 24,000 early elementary students have received reading intervention through Read Alliance’s one-to-one model delivered by over 23,000 trained Teen Leaders meaningfully employed as individual reading tutors. Read Alliance pre- and post-assessment data has consistently shown that after just one program cycle, students who receive Read Alliance intervention average more than a full year’s growth in foundational reading skills.

    Function

The Data and Systems Coordinator is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role responsible for coordinating data operations, reporting, analysis, and systems administration across Read Alliance’s programs. The position serves as a key liaison between program teams and Read Alliance’s outsourced Senior Director of Data Collection and Evaluation.

The Data and Systems Coordinator will develop a strong understanding of program implementation, timelines, data-management practices, and organizational systems, including Salesforce and Tableau. • Generate regular program, site, attendance, assessment, enrollment, and Teen Leader reports for internal and external audiences.
    • Prepare mid-program and end-of-program reports for school partners and support partner review meetings, as needed.
    • Develop dashboards, presentations, data summaries, and other materials for leadership, funders, school partners, and internal meetings.
    • With support of the Director of Expansion and the Senior Director of Data Collection and Evaluation, translate data findings into clear, actionable insights that support program planning and continuous improvement.

    • Create and maintain Salesforce filters, views, and other system configurations needed to support program operations and reporting.
    • Coordinate onboarding for new Salesforce and Tableau users, including account setup, access, and onboarding communications.
    • Respond to access requests and provide first-level technical support, including password resets and multi-factor authentication (MFA) troubleshooting.
    • Monitor system access and ensure accounts are provisioned and deactivated in a timely manner.
    • Maintain current system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
