    The International Studio and Curatorial Program (ISCP) is seeking a Financial and Administrative Manager. ISCP is a not-for-profit, residency-based contemporary art center for emerging to mid-career artists and curators from around the world. Founded in 1994, ISCP has hosted over 2,000 artists and curators from more than 100 countries, including the United States. ISCP organizes exhibitions, events and offsite projects, which are free and open to all, sustaining a vibrant community of contemporary art practitioners and diverse audiences.     The Financial and Administrative Manager is responsible for a range of organizational activities and liaises with a staff of eight, and works under the supervision of the Executive Director. In addition, the Financial and Administrative Manager directly supervises the Facilities Manager.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Direct annual budgeting and planning process for the organization’s annual budget with the Executive Director.
    • Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization’s financial performance against budget.
    • Maintain day-to-day finance operations including processing deposits, payables and reimbursements, invoicing, and reconciling accounts.
    • Oversee financial budgets and reporting for grants, working with the Director of Development.
    • Liaise with program staff and oversee sponsorship contracts, fees, and related payment correspondence.Present organizational budgets and financials quarterly to the Board of Directors, seeking Board Finance Committee input in advance.
    • Perform Human Resources duties including administering payroll, employee benefits, and maintain filings to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements and organizational insurance.
    • Support annual audit performed by independent auditor.
    • Organize office operations and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity, including organizing staff and intern office schedules.
    • With the Executive Director, oversee capital projects.
    • Liaise with all outside vendors including independent contractors, facilities contractors and IT support.
    • Oversee ISCP's computer files, and necessary IT coordination of all records on cloud and server.
    • Maintain, administer and train staff on effective use of Salesforce and related donor tracking software.
    • Supervise organization facilities and infrastructure.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent number years’ experience in accounting, finance, nonprofit management, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in nonprofit financial and operational management
    • Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, budgeting, and financial reporting.
    • Experience with audits, compliance, and grant reporting
    • Knowledge of HR policies, employment law, and benefits administration
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), Excel, and Google Workspace; experience with Salesforce or CRM is a plus
    • Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary art field preferred
    • Ability to work with a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask

    Compensación
