    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    The Senior Director of Corporate and Constituent Relations serves as the primary architect and coordinator of Westchester Community College Foundation’s corporate engagement strategy. This role is responsible for developing and managing the Foundation’s strategic partnerships with corporate, business, and community organizations to advance the College’s mission of student success, workforce development, and community impact.

    Reporting to the Executive Director of the Westchester Community College Foundation and working in close collaboration with the College President and senior Academic and Workforce Development leadership, this position bridges Foundation development efforts with College academic and workforce programs, ensuring coordinated and strategic engagement with corporate partners. The Senior Director will inventory, support existing and develop new corporate relationships across the institution, cultivate deep strategic partnerships with key employers in collaboration with College colleagues, design the appropriate corporate advisory structure based on actual partnership outcomes and corporate needs, and develop a robust corporate and community mentoring program, all with an ultimate goal of increasing corporate philanthropic support.

    This is a foundational position that will shape WCCF’s corporate engagement model for years to come.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Corporate Relationship Coordination

      • Build and manage a portfolio of 150 individuals capable of making gifts of $10k or more, with an ultimate goal to cultivate, solicit, and close at least $1M annually to benefit the College.
      • Nurture relationships across the College to become knowledgeable about and effectively represent priorities across departments, particularly within the context of the Foundation’s capital campaign.
      • Creatively and persistently seek connections to new prospects to qualify interest and capacity and build pipeline.
      • Develop innovative ways to engage new prospects and re-engage donors in the life of the College and in Foundation events and activities.
      • Author well-crafted correspondence regularly and develop customized fundraising proposals as needed.
      • Actively contribute to the work of the Foundation, leading by example, collaborating whenever possible, and becoming a trusted colleague to staff at all levels.
      • Champion the systems that support the Foundation’s work, most notably Raiser’s Edge NXT with portfolio activity and communications entered in a timely manner to ensure data is accurate and current.
      • Work collaboratively with senior fundraising staff
      • Perform other related duties as assigned.
      • Position requires availability on evenings and weekends as needed for donor meetings and to assist at development events.

    Strategic Partnership Development

      • Facilitate connections between corporate partners and relevant academic and workforce programs
      • Manage ongoing strategic partner relationships with regular check-ins
      • Develop relationships with corporations for which the College’s Professional Development Center can facilitate workforce training programs meeting specific employer needs and may result in direct hiring pipelines and preferential recruiting access

    Fundraising & Business Development

      • Work in collaboration with the Development team on overall corporate strategy
      • Manage portfolio of new corporate major gift prospects
      • Create compelling proposals for corporate investments aligned with College and business needs
      • Track and steward new corporate gifts ensuring accountability and impact reporting
      • Secure new program sponsorships, scholarships, and restricted gifts
      • Identify and pursue new corporate foundation grants
      • Position new strategic partners for major campaign commitments

    Corporate Advisory or Alternate Structure Development

      • Based on agreed-upon structure after discovery phase, consult with College and Foundation leadership to develop, recruit, onboard, and engage members of a corporate advisory group
      • Tailor charter, membership criteria, meeting structure, and governance structure for a formal corporate council based on College needs
      • Recruit and onboard council members from strategic partners and key prospects
      • Design engagement model ensuring meaningful participation and corporate ROI
      • Staff council meetings and manage council operations

    Staff Supervision

      • Supervise and provide direction to Alumni Engagement Director and Volunteer Coordinator

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

      • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
      • 7-10 years of experience in corporate relations, partnership development, or major gifts fundraising
      • Demonstrated success cultivating and closing five and six-figure gifts or partnerships
      • Experience working in higher education, preferably community colleges

    KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:

      • Proven ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
      • Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
      • Ability to translate between academic and corporate cultures
      • Knowledge of Westchester County corporate landscape

    SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

      • Experience with CRM systems and relationship tracking
      • Grant writing and corporate foundation relations experience
      • Project management expertise

    POSITION EFFECTIVE:

    The position is available February 16, 2026

    SALARY & BENEFITS: The salary range is $107,000-$165,682, plus benefits and is commensurate with experience, plus benefits.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This is a full-time exempt position.
