Who We Are

Voice of the Experienced (VOTE) is a Louisiana-based organization building power to advance justice for people impacted by incarceration and systemic racism. Founded by formerly incarcerated leaders, we work across organizing, policy, and advocacy to drive meaningful change statewide.

What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to help expand our digital presence and storytelling efforts. In this role, you will:

• Manage and grow social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Create and publish engaging content (graphics, videos, newsletters, and campaign messaging)
• Support storytelling efforts that amplify directly impacted voices
• Coordinate digital campaigns, blogs, and email communications
• Track engagement and optimize digital strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams to support organizing, advocacy, and events

Where You’ll Work

This is a full-time, in-person role based in New Orleans, with travel between chapters as needed in Baton Rouge, or Lafayette, LA,

Compensation: $50,000 – $65,000 + full benefits (health, dental, vision, retirement match, PTO, holidays).
