About Just Futures Law
Just Futures Law is a movement law organization dedicated to defending and building the power of immigrant rights and criminal justice activists, organizers, and community groups. Our mission is to stop the criminalization, detention, and deportation of immigrants and people of color in the United States. We bring unique expertise in immigration, criminal justice, and surveillance issues, and we partner with communities to develop strategies that anticipate and counter emerging threats.
Founded in 2019, JFL’s work is rooted in movement lawyering and a racial justice framework. We are a growing, fully remote team of eight with a fast-paced, collaborative, and values-driven culture. Our staff are based across CA, DC, GA, IL, MA, NC, and OR, and occasional travel is required.
Position Overview
Just Futures Law seeks a seasoned and committed litigator to lead and support strategic legal challenges against repressive immigration policies, surveillance practices, and the erosion of First Amendment rights. This is a full-time, remote, exempt position.
