Senior Advisor, SOGIESC (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, Gender Expression and Sex Characteristics)

As Senior Advisor SOGIESC, you will drive the implementation of IPPF’s Gender Equality and Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion policies, ensuring our services are equitable and accessible to people with diverse sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sex characteristics.

You’ll collaborate with regional teams and Member Associations to provide technical assistance, shape inclusive programming, and foster best practice sharing – making a tangible impact on communities worldwide.

💡 What You’ll Do

• Implement inclusive gender and diversity programming across IPPF and its Member Associations
• Provide technical support to ensure services are accessible and equitable for people with diverse SOGIESC.
• Support rollout of IPPF’s Gender Equality Policy.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange and best practice sharing.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Contribute to funding proposals and identify new opportunities.
• Represent IPPF in regional and global forums.

🧠 What You Bring

• Proven experience in gender equality, diversity, and inclusion programming (ideally in an international NGO context).
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build consensus and work collaboratively across diverse teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) highly desirable.
• Committed to feminist, anti-racist, and inclusive values.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
