    Opportunity: Summer Program Support Staff (Short-Term)

    Duration: 2 days – July 16 to July 17, 2026

    Location: Atlanta, GA (exact location shared upon confirmation)

    Time Commitment: ~6–8 hours per day (schedule TBD)

    Compensation: Starting at $20/hour, depending on experience (daily breakfast and lunch provided)

    Reports to: Program Coordinator / On-site Lead

    About the Program

    This youth-focused summer program is led by a mission-driven nonprofit organization committed to expanding access to education, leadership development, and career exploration. Through immersive, hands-on experiences in areas such as STEM, critical thinking, and personal development, the program supports students from underrepresented communities in building confidence, skills, and future pathways.

    Position Summary

    We are seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and community-minded individuals to serve as Summer Support Staff for a short-term youth program. This is a hands-on opportunity to help create a positive, engaging, and supportive environment for middle and high school students. You will assist with daily programming, support facilitators, and interact with students throughout the experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Set up and break down program spaces each day
    • Support facilitators and workshop leaders during sessions
    • Supervise and guide small groups of students between activities
    • Organize and distribute materials and supplies
    • Encourage participation and help maintain a welcoming environment
    • Provide general on-site support to staff and students as needed

    Qualifications

    • High school graduate; must be 18 years or older
    • Alumni of similar youth programs encouraged to apply
    • Friendly, dependable, and flexible with a team-first mindset
    • Comfortable engaging with middle and high school-aged students
    • Punctual and available for all four program days
    • Experience working with youth is a plus, but not required
    • Background check required
