    Descripción

    Overview

The principal role of the Site Lead is to provide overall site supervision and

direct Villager (client) service. Site Leads serve a pivotal function in helping

Villagers (clients) work towards obtaining longer-term, more-stable

housing and all goals that support this. Site Leads also play an essential

role in creating an environment within the Village where everyone can feel

safe, respected, and connected, so that people who live, work, or serve

    can always feel at home.

E1V has a strong and growing presence in the community. E1V, as a

Village, walks with everyone, especially those in need of housing, food,

workforce opportunities, treatment services, and other community

resources. Through these healing connections we help each other to

cultivate lives full of meaning and purpose. This includes not only the

people we serve, but also the people serving alongside us. Like every

member of the staff team, the Site Lead should engage people in a

respectful and authentic way that helps to build connection and trust.

This is a position in a quickly growing village, so the Site Lead must be

adaptable to changing circumstances and realities and be willing to

    embrace new responsibilities as needed.

    Requirements

    • Champion of vision, values, and culture of Everyone Village
    • At least a year of hands-on experience working with marginalized, at risk, economically disadvantaged, physically/mentally disabled, substance abuse/dual diagnosed and homeless individuals
    • An ability to communicate effectively with diverse communities and to adjust communication style to audiences as appropriate
    • Top-notch problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess a situation
    • High level of attention to detail, comfortable with regular reporting
    • Ability to work in harmony with and serve a broad spectrum of humans
    • Exceptional model of personal integrity
    • Complete required trainings and competencies within 3 months of hire

    Priorities

While some specific responsibilities are spelled out later in this job

description, the Site Lead should tackle her/his duties with the following

    over-arching priorities in mind:

    • Problem Solving – as the on-site property manager, helping to solve villager conflicts and knowing who to go to for what is essential. The ability to troubleshoot when there are problems, take initiative, and make quick decisions is critical.
    • Attention to Detail – working on a large site under construction with a wide range of organizations and individuals is tricky. Monitoring areas for damage to grounds, equipment and/or facilities, following procedures, and the careful documentation of incidents in a timely manner will be a necessity.
    • Trauma Informed Leadership – when emotional responses are triggered, each person responds according to the extent of their emotional scars, traumas, and emotional strengths. Site leads must be able to interact using trauma informed approaches that respect each individuals’ competencies.

    Essential Functions

    1. Develop relational rapport with the Villagers and provide direct service provision to them.
    2. Support community partners and agencies providing service to the Village.
    3. Maintain a safe environment; de-escalate crisis situations and work with emergency personnel when necessary.
    4. Foster an environment that encourages voluntary compliance of village rules and expectations.
    5. Document violations of the rules and expectations, as well as other relevant incidents, especially positive ones impacting our clients.
    6. Monitor areas for damage to grounds, equipment and/or facilities and document all incidents promptly.
    7. Help to facilitate move-in and move-out activities.
    8. Communicate triumphs and tribulations with staff leadership.
    9. Serve as the primary contact during scheduled shifts.
    10. Other duties as assigned.

Duration / Compensation: In-person, M-F, 9-5 (32-40 hrs/wk), beginning at $22/hour. On-call weekend hours as needed (through on-call phone rotation). (Paychecks are issued via direct deposit on the 15th and last day of each month)
