    The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven, the region's largest grant maker and permanent charitable endowment, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Data and Integration Specialist.     Title: Data and Integration Specialist

    Department: Finance, Administration & Technology

    Reports to: Chief Financial Officer and VP for Operations

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

    Salary Range: $68,564 - $85,705

    POSITION:

    The Data and Integration Specialist is accountable for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data across multiple platforms. The Specialist will focus on maintaining automated data integrations via APIs and executing efficient manual data operations when automation is not feasible. This position will work closely with the Database Manager and will be responsible for the further implementation of the Blackbaud-based product suite and related applications. This position will collaborate daily with the Data Manager to align on automations, data hygiene standards, and project priorities. The Data and Integration Specialist will play a key role in assuring day-to-day operational needs of the foundation are met.

    CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Data Integrity & Maintenance

      • Ensure data consistency and accuracy between applications.
      • Perform regular data imports, exports, and updates to maintain data quality.
      • Assist in developing and enforcing data entry standards and best practices.
      • Monitor, audit, and clean data within our Blackbaud products

    Application Support & Project Management

      • Provide first-line support for end-users experiencing issues with the Blackbaud suite and synced applications.
      • Assist in troubleshooting data synchronization problems between different platforms.
      • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry
      • Contribute to the testing and implementation of new features, upgrades, and integrations.
      • Stay current with updates and changes to Blackbaud NXT and integrated systems, assessing the impact on existing data processes.
      • Manage small-scale data projects from start to finish, including setting timelines and meeting deadlines.
      • Work independently to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively with minimal oversight.

    Data Integrity & Maintenance

      • Ensure data consistency and accuracy between applications.
      • Perform regular data imports, exports, and updates to maintain data quality.
      • Assist in developing and enforcing data entry standards and best practices.
      • Monitor, audit, and clean data within our Blackbaud products

    Data Entry

      • Perform high-volume, accurate data entry as needed to support special projects or fill data gaps.
      • Manage and process data imports from external sources.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
    • Knowledge of data management with experience in data collection, maintenance, and analysis
    • Ability to create and execute efficient queries, exports, reports and imports
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and other data manipulation tools
    • Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable.
    • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, or other tools in the Power Platform
    • Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines
    • Ability to interact well with a diverse range of people and work in a team setting

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Degree or Credential in a related field such as Information Technology, Information Management or Computer Science; or previous experience
    • Nonprofit or community foundation experience
    • Knowledge of Blackbaud product suite

    Compensación

      • Medical (Aetna): Starting at $33/week
      • Vision (Aetna): Starting at $1/week for a $130 hardware allowance
      • Dental (UNUM): Starting at $2/week for a $1,500 maximum benefit; ortho included!
      • Life (UNUM): 1 X Salary; paid by The Community Foundation
      • Short-term Disability (UNUM): 6% of earnings; paid by The Community Foundation
      • Long-term Disability (UNUM): 60% of earnings; paid by The Community Foundation
      • Retirement: The Community Foundation will contribute 8% of employee’s salary
      • Paid time off: Paid holidays, vacation, floating holidays, sick time, parental leave
      • Tuition reimbursement: up to 3K per year for academic programs
