communities through advocacy, neighborhood organizing, and community

The Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC) seeks a dynamic individual to: assist

the fiscal department generally by being responsible for processing invoices

and issuing payments, processing payroll and payroll information by

collecting, calculating, and entering data. Reconciles processed work by

verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. Work with

teammates on a day-to-day basis to follow through on the completion of all

responsible accounting aspects to close books on a monthly basis.


 


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


●       Processing of Accounting Functions such as

accounts payable, cash disbursements, running reports, and reconciliations.


●       Ensure accurate payment of invoices with

required contracts, including accounting charge codes, and amounts paid.


●       Understanding of funder budgets to ensure

accurate processing of expenses in line with funder budgets


●       Processing accurate credit card reconciliations which includes verifying amounts

charged, invoices, receipts, grant codes, and expense codes in line with

funder budgets


●       Resolving account discrepancies both external

and internal.


●       Collecting contracts and/or MOU with w-9 for

vendors


●       Maintaining updated annual shared cost

schedules  and monitoring of shared

costs charged are in line with funder budgets


●       Creating and filing all complete and approved

Payroll and AP-related documents.


●       Processing of payroll including entering new

hires, terminations, timesheets


●       Payroll entries and reconciliation for

Benefits, Wageworks HRA, 403b payments and any other required documents


●       Compiling and filing of HR packages for new

and existing employees in collaboration with Program Managers and Human

Resources Manager.


●       Compiling and filing of supervisor cover pages

for new hires, transfers, and terminated employees in collaboration with the

Human Resources Manager.


●       Track and update sick/vacation schedule


●       Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts as

they pertain to AP and PR


●       Preparation and submission of monthly,

quarterly, and yearly HR Reports such as BLS report, EEOC


●       Support HR with reports including HR FMLA,

employment verifications, workers comp, new employee reports, filing,

disability & compensation reports, and any other as required.


●       HR admin support as requested by Human

Resources Manager


●       Assisting with the annual audit -

preparations, schedules, walk thru, pulling AP and PR files


●       Place orders for the Fiscal department.

Accounting degree or

related field


●      

Experience in

non-profit accounting a plus


●      

Must have Abila/Sage

MIP or similar accounting experience


●      

Knowledge of Isolved

payroll software or similar


●      

MS Word, excel, and

powerpoint experience


●      

Ability to work in a

fast pace environment

Salary range for this position is $50,000

- $55,000. ICC offers a

competitive compensation package including health benefits, generous time off

policy, and 403(b) plan.
