Passion. Purpose. Impact. CJP is at the heart of Greater Boston's Jewish community, but our reach is felt around the world. Ranked by BBJ as Massachusetts’ largest non-profit organization – CJP is a philanthropic investor and mobilizer of people, resources, and skills that make a bigger difference locally and globally.

Join us as we transform how marketing works across our organization. Our marketing team is at an inflection point—growing in scope, elevating our brand, and building systems that bring creativity, strategy, and execution into closer alignment. This role is designed for someone who sees both the big picture and the operational detail, driving work from intake through delivery and helping unify our efforts into a seamless, high performing engine.

We’re seeking a Marketing Project Manager who owns the full lifecycle of marketing projects—scoping, sequencing, resourcing, and ensuring timely delivery. This person partners closely with creative, digital, communications, and strategy leads, bringing project management expertise that strengthens collaboration, improves execution, and elevates the work itself.

CJP is not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

    Essential Functions:

    Project Management

    • Lead and manage multichannel marketing projects across email, web, social, creative, and events. Build timelines, clarify scope, and translate strategy into actionable plans. Identify risks early, communicate tradeoffs, and maintain momentum in a fastmoving environment. Coordinate daily across teams and partners, turning feedback into clear next steps and collaborating with vendors as needed.

    Process & Systems Excellence

    • Develop and refine workflows, intake processes, calendars, and documentation that streamline how marketing work gets done. Set clear roles and expectations to strengthen collaboration and support consistent project management practices across the department.

    Resource & Capacity Management

    • Create visibility into team workload, deadlines, and capacity. Flag risks early and propose solutions that balance scope and timing. Partner with team leads to maintain sustainable resourcing and forecast upcoming needs.

    Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

    • Serve as the central point of coordination, ensuring shared understanding from kickoff through delivery. Provide regular updates, clarify priorities, and build strong, trustbased relationships to guide teams toward successful outcomes.

    Crisis Communications Project Management

    • While not part of the daytoday workload, the Marketing Project Manager plays a key coordinating role during urgent or crisisrelated communications requiring rapid reallocation of resources and collaboration across workstreams. In these situations, this person will:
    • Coordinate deliverables across the marketing team and CJP leadership to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely execution.
    • Establish structure, workflows, and responsibilities during highurgency moments.
    • Serve as the central point of project management for crisisrelated tasks.
    • Be available during occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
    • This responsibility requires calm, consistency, and operational steadiness during moments that matter most.
    • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

    Experience:

    • PMP certification (preferred but not required)
    • 5+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in marketing or communications
    • Experience leading complex, multichannel campaigns
    • Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
    • Experience with project management tools (Asana preferred)
    • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, shifting environment
    • Alignment with CJP’s mission and core commitments, and a relationship centered approach

    Skills/Competencies:

    • You bring strong project management experience, with fluency in marketing workflows, campaign strategy, and integrated execution.
    • You thrive in evolving environments, create structure where it’s needed, and balance flexibility with the discipline required to keep work on track. You collaborate naturally and bring clarity to ambiguity.
    • You identify issues early, communicate them clearly, and step in to unblock progress and drive projects forward.
    • You manage multiple projects with calm and precision, using clear communication and reliable documentation to keep work aligned.
    • You understand how content, creative, digital, and events integrate and can bridge teams to support cohesive execution.

Why This Role Matters: Marketing is central to our impact and visibility. To deliver consistently excellent work, we need someone who:

    • Understands the full marketing ecosystem and how work flows across it
    • Builds processes that support teams and align resources
    • Manages deliverables from start to finish with clarity and structure
    • Provides visibility into priorities, timelines, and capacity
    • Creates shared understanding of how work is initiated and delivered
    • Thinks strategically with awareness of sequencing, risk, and dependencies
    • Communicates clearly to align stakeholders
    • Puts relationships first—reflecting CJP’s relationshipdriven culture

This role ensures we don’t just meet deadlines—we deliver strategic, highimpact work grounded in accountability and collaboration.

    Working Conditions:

    • Hybrid Work Schedule: CJP staff follow a hybrid work model. On-site work is required on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, while remote work is an option on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays with occasional in-person meetings on those days.
    • Physical Requirements: This role involves remaining in a stationary position, often sitting or standing for prolonged periods, primarily working at a computer. Staff need to be able to carry a laptop and bag to and from the office.
    • Inclusivity: We are committed to creating an inclusive environment for individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
