Consultancy background and objectives
CIVICUS’ current Strategic Plan 2022-2027 is supported by a costed strategy that outlines funding necessary to fulfill our strategic objectives mentioned above, and to support the strengthening of the alliance’s work on innovation and sustainability. In light of shifting funder priorities, CIVICUS is looking to diversify its resourcing partnerships and test alternative funding mechanisms, including individual giving using digital platforms.
The consultant will be required to explore new partnerships with potential funders, support relationships with existing funders and implement CIVICUS’s fundraising priorities. In addition, the consultant will be required to work flexibly to advance CIVICUS’s innovation and sustainability workstream objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
Expected workdays, timeframe and costing
We anticipate that this consultancy will require an average commitment of around 30 hours per week over a six-month period between May and November 2025. The consultant must be willing to also respond flexibly to emerging organisational needs with regards to innovation and sustainability
Budget
