Campaign manager, field director, volunteer coordinator, and/or other staff

Location: Cambridge and Somerville area. Field and in-person work required.

About the candidate: Mike Connolly is running for re-election to the Massachusetts House for the 26th Middlesex district, representing parts of Cambridge and Somerville.

Typical responsibilities:

• Help develop and execute campaign strategy
• Manage and support day-to-day campaign operations and appearances
• Oversee field program and voter engagement
• Organize and support events and activities
• Manage budget and campaign finance reporting

Desired qualifications and attributes:

• At least one cycle of experienced involvement on a campaign or electoral organizing role, or comparable political/advocacy work.
• Familiarity with campaign database/software tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Social media and technology skills
• Self-starter who can manage competing priorities with limited supervision
• Commitment to progressive values and movement building
• Familiarity with the Cambridge and Somerville area
