Position Summary
Reports to: Chief Partnerships Officer
The Partnerships Specialist is responsible for building and sustaining strategic relationships with employers to create meaningful career opportunities for Grace Institute participants and alumnae. This role combines business development, relationship management, and talent consulting, driving both new partnerships and deeper engagement with existing employers to increase hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Employer Engagement & Business Development (40%)
- Proactively identify and engage new employer partners across healthcare, office administration, and related sectors.
- Conduct discovery calls and consultative meetings to understand hiring needs, workforce priorities, and partnership opportunities.
- Develop proposals and engagement plans tailored to employer goals and participant talent.
Account Management & Partner Stewardship (30%)
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of existing partners, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and continued hiring engagement.
- Coordinate hiring events, info sessions, workshops, mock interviews, and customized recruitment activities in partnership with employers.
- Regularly meet with hiring managers, recruiters, and partner contacts to assess satisfaction, share updates, and identify new opportunities.
Hiring Pipeline & Talent Coordination (20%)
- Collaborate with Talent Specialists to match alumnae with open roles, ensuring a seamless referral and interview process.
- Track and report on hiring activity, conversion rates, and retention outcomes.
- Share feedback from employers to inform coaching, curriculum, and alumni preparation.
Strategic Growth & Partnerships Strategy (10%)
- Support the Chief Partnerships Officer in designing and executing the annual employer partnerships strategy.
- Contribute insights on industry trends, workforce needs, and partnership opportunities.
- Represent Grace Institute at employer-facing events, conferences, and workforce ecosystem convenings.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in employer engagement, partnerships, talent acquisition, or business development.
- Proven track record of building and managing employer relationships, ideally in workforce development or recruiting contexts.
- Strong communication and consultative sales skills, with the ability to present talent value propositions effectively.
- Data-driven mindset with experience managing pipelines and tracking outcomes.
- Collaborative and strategic thinker who thrives on building long-term, mission-driven partnerships.
