JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Behavioral Health Services, the Clinical Director must apply a multidisciplinary approach to promote optimal outcomes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of co-occurring disorders of mental health illness and substance misuse clients of BAC. This position assists in matters of clinical compliance for mental health disorders in accordance with Federal and State regulations. The Director of Mental Health Services assists with the management of multiple service lines in accordance with behavioral health and substance misuse contract funders, including OASAS, OMH, and SAMHSA. The position assists in establishing quality measures for mental health service providers agency-wide (including all community and clinical service sites). Assists with establishing clinical practice policy and protocols, individual/group supervision, case conferencing, quality assurance & improvement, and reviewing treatment plans while setting the pace for a high-performing and productive department. The Clinical Director will serve as the primary liaison between the agency and other agencies in the mental health continuum (e.g., state hospital, community case management, adult foster care homes, etc.). The position requires representation of BAC and participation in internal and external meetings as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Health Services.
This position is scheheduled full-time (35 hour per week) and on-site. The candidate will work during clinic operating hours of Monday -Thursday, 8am -8pm, Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm.
