    Do you enjoy connecting with people, supporting a team, and inspiring others to succeed? For 40 years, Aspect Foundation has been home to a nationwide network of Local Coordinators who recruit volunteer American host families, match families with foreign exchange students, and support students throughout their exchange year at the local high school. We are seeking a dynamic new National Recruitment & Engagement Manager with a passion for cultural exchange who will play a key role in growing our network to provide more life-changing experiences for families and exchange students.

    As Recruitment & Engagement Manager, your role is to network and advertise for Local Coordinators in targeted communities nationwide; screen and hire good candidates; shepherd new hires through the training and certification process; assign trained new hires to a Team Manager; and maintain a relationship with each newly trained Local Coordinator, helping to nurture them through their first season and to celebrate their successes for years to come.

    You will also attend to administrative matters, develop training tools, and provide excellent customer service to Team Managers and Local Coordinators nationwide, with a focus on making each participant feel supported, recognized and rewarded.

    Our ideal candidate will be a bright, creative, engaging individual, who is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to make process improvements in our recruitment campaigns. We are looking for someone who will be pro-active in thinking out-of-the-box, contributing new ideas, and taking decisive actions toward reaching our recruitment goals each year.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop the annual strategic plan, together with other staff, establishing where and when to advertise and network for new Local Coordinators
    • Recruit new Local Coordinators via networking with former hosts, coordinators and staff
    • Establish and implement best practices for recruiting participants via social media and other platforms
    • Screen, interview, hire and train new Local Coordinators nationwide in targeted areas
    • Ensure that each Local Coordinator completes their annual criminal background check and US State Department mandated certification
    • Keep training materials fresh and updated, and develop new online training tools as needed
    • Participate in social media marketing and outreach campaigns
    • Serve as a helpful team member, attending to administrative matters as needed
    • Provide excellent customer service and support to all participants
    • Attend periodic staff meetings and training conferences

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in recruiting participants via networking and advertising
    • Experience with Facebook Advertising, Linked-in, Indeed or similar platforms
    • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
    • Experience working with/managing volunteers strongly preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to work with and relate to people from different backgrounds
    • Friendly, warm telephone voice and helpful team spirit
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills
    • Computer skills, including database experience
    • High energy, self-motivation and a genuine interest in the field
    • Participation in or experience with student exchange a plus

    Compensation

    $55K plus 10% over salary in 403B retirement account; excellent benefits including paid time off, health, dental, and vision.
