The General Secretary for Operations & Compliance will be part of theGeneral Secretary Office (GSO) and work closely with the Executive Directors of the Board of Volt Europa, to which it will also report.
In this role, you will be responsible for the operational functions within the organisation (with a focus on HR and Legal), as well as the compliance and administrative processes of Volt. This includes managing teams of volunteers, reviewing and drafting contracts and improving processes.
Job Title: Operations & Compliance manager
Term: 1 year contract initially
Remuneration: around €46,000 annually for full-time role. Salary to be adjusted depending on experience-level and for purchase power parity depending on the location.
Location: fully remote
Time commitment: full-time or part-time to be agreed
You will oversee the functions HR and Legal & Compliance, and also step in where needed to link the work of the Tech team to the broader organisation. In addition, you will focus on organisational development, which includes taking ownership of different projects within the organisation, some which may fall outside of the scope of the mentioned teams, as well as preparing board decisions and working together with the Leadership team and your counterparts in the national chapters to manage the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
