The Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs (MCOHA), a nonprofit organization and a trusted resource for more than 20,000 immigrants and low-income residents each year, is conducting a search for a new Executive Director, as our former director has accepted another position after serving in the role for three years.
MCOHA seeks a motivated, community-oriented, inspirational, dynamic leader with exceptional skills in organizational management and fundraising. The ideal candidate will continue to build upon the growth and success achieved under the former director’s leadership. The new Executive Director will lead and collaborate with a dedicated team of seasoned professionals and volunteers who have contributed to the organization’s innovation, growth and development over the last forty-eight (48) years.
The new Executive Director will continue to champion MCOHA’s mission:
“In keeping with our strong heritage as a nation of immigrants, MCOHA aims to help improve the lives of Hispanic and low-income residents by providing direct social services, education, and client advocacy. We strive to inspire hope and community integration.”
This mission is fulfilled through the administration of the following programs, available to ALL Morris County residents who meet income requirements, regardless of ethnic origin:
The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects of the organization. We are seeking bilingual candidate (Spanish preferred) with demonstrated experienced in leadership and team development, fiscal management, human resources administration and grant writing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organizational growth and a strong ability to collaborate with stakeholders to elevate the organization to the next level.
