    Summary

    The San Diego Wellness Collaborative is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Partnerships with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing mission driven organization. The Director should have experience of translating healthcare and social services policies into on-the-ground implementation. The ideal candidate should be dedicated to serving our partners, driving program excellence, and managing and developing staff.

    The Director will be responsible for supporting Neighborhood Networks partners and workforce in a way that aligns with our mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in leading programmatic initiatives, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

    The Director will contribute significantly to achieving SDWC’s mission to build community-clinical linkages and collaboration for optimal health outcomes and health equity.

    Responsibilities

    Leadership and Management

    • Participate on the Neighborhood Networks Leadership Team and actively support the development of annual strategic plans, Key Performance Outcomes, and ongoing metrics
    • Execute programmatic strategies to align with organizational goals, including strategies for growth in service delivery
    • Embody principles of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging within Neighborhood Networks
    • Oversee annual program, departmental, and staff goals and metrics
    • Ensure operational excellence aligned with contract deliverables and organizational goals
    • Work closely with various internal teams including finance and operations and externally with our technology vendor

    Partner Relationships

    • Expand Neighborhood Networks partner network to aligned Community Based Organizations in San Diego and throughout California
    • Identify, assess, and recruit potential partners whose have a readiness to participate fully in the Neighborhood Networks model
    • Create strong and enduring relationships with Neighborhood Networks partners
    • Ensure partners receive support and ongoing engagement from the Neighborhood Networks internal team
    • Attend and oversee the planning of monthly partner meetings
    • Support the Neighborhood Networks Director of Business and Operations with compliance with the service delivery contracts
    • Support the Neighborhood Networks Director of Business and Operations with the ongoing updates and improvements to the Neighborhood Networks case management system

    Workforce Supports

    • Develop and coordinate, with support from the Program Coordinator, the onboarding and training of new workforce at partner organizations
    • Oversee the provision of monthly Reflective Practice sessions for the workforce
    • Coordinate with the Neighborhood Networks clinical consultant to ensure workforce are receiving appropriate clinical supports
    • Provide ongoing support for the Neighborhood Networks Supervisors and Workforce through monthly training and support meetings

    Outcome Measurement

    • Support achievement of Key Performance Outcomes and Indicators, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with organizational goals
    • Maintain oversight on partners’ delivery of service level agreements
    • Share data-driven insights and data dashboards to make informed decisions and improvements across the organization and teams
    • Oversee ongoing quality improvement and evaluation efforts including a quarterly review of compliance and performance metrics with partners
    • Implement procedures for monitoring the quality and quantity of the services being delivered

    Operational Management

    • Oversee the Outreach and Referral team and ensure performance of the team
    • Attract, retain, train, supervise, coach, and be committed to the professional development of staff
    • Supervise the Neighborhood Networks Program Manager and Program Coordinator
    • Work with the Director of Business Operations to ensure Neighborhood Networks processes, workflows and program guides are up to date and disseminated to partners where appropriate
    • Support meeting Neighborhood Network's financial targets
    • Support development of annual Neighborhood Networks budget

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Social Work, Human Services Management, or related field OR equivalent experience
    • 5-10 years of progressive management experience in a non-profit service environment. Healthcare experience preferred
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with experience in building programs and collaborations. Prefer experience in the creation, implementation, evaluation, and management of programs for underserved communities.
    • Analytical interest with demonstrated experience in program evaluation and using data for business management and quality improvement
    • Practical knowledge of the effects of trauma, social injustice, and persistent poverty, as well as experience working with people from diverse ethnic, social, and cultural backgrounds
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, along with strong organizational abilities and the ability to persuade others
    • Experience with government contracts, contract management and compliance
    • Ability to build relationships and partnerships, negotiate with stakeholders, and develop creative solutions
    • Must be an effective change agent, capable of leading others to achieve organizational improvement
    • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage program budgets
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools

    Salary / Benefits

    This is an exempt full-time position. The annual salary range is $100,000-$130,000, depending on experience and market rates. SDWC offers a comprehensive benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental, vision, and retirement).
