    Position Description

The Development Officer is a mid-level role at the center of One Mind’s fundraising operations, donor engagement, and event management efforts. The Development Officer will support the Development team’s management of a large portfolio of donors and prospects, leading outreach, tracking, and follow-up materials to move each relationship forward. The Officer will own the Neon CRM to ensure a seamless moves management system, as well as managing donor records, data entry, and data integrity across the development function.

This role also supports event logistics for One Mind’s signature fundraising events, the annual Music Festival and the Apollo & Psyche gala, working closely with the event management team to manage sponsorship deliverables, registrations, and payments. In support of the broader team, the role includes drafting donor outreach and acknowledgment correspondence, managing stewardship and pipeline tracking, assisting with grant and sponsorship deliverables, and handling administrative responsibilities such as calendaring and meeting coordination for the Development team.

The Development Officer will work collaboratively across teams, particularly each Program Lead and the Finance & Operations team, to ensure seamless integration of fundraising and financial processes. Reporting to the Associate Director of Development, the position will work closely with both the Associate Director and the Chief Development Officer on donor strategy, pipeline priorities, and stewardship. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of development, project management, or sales experience, strong organizational and technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
