About Simon’s Heart & CPR Jukebox

Simon’s Heart was founded twenty years ago to prevent sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) and death in children, teens, and young adults. The organization has:

    • Screened over 20,000 students
    • Helped pass the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act in 19 states
    • Educated over 2 million coaches across 50 states about the risks and warning signs of SCA
    • Launched a digital cardiac registry to support pediatric research
    • Placed more than 500 AEDs in communities where kids learn and play.

    About the CPR Jukebox

CPR Jukebox is a music-powered CPR awareness experience designed to make lifesaving skills fun, familiar and approachable—especially for students.

The activation features an inflatable jukebox, kickballs and a curated playlist that teaches CPR through rhythm and repetition. Participants pick a song, grab a ball and push to the beat.

CPR Jukebox has reached tens of thousands of students at local events and national activations, including the NFL Pro Bowl, MLS All Star Weekend and the NCAA Final Four. Simon’s Heart is now scaling this initiative nationally, with a strong focus on student leadership, community engagement, and a new flagship experience - the CPR Jukebox Marathon.

The CPR Jukebox portfolio includes three initiatives:

    • CPR Jukebox Tour - live activations at strategic events
    • CPR Jukebox Licensing - Cobranded activations led by partner organizations
    • CPR Jukebox Marathon - A twelve-hour, student-powered fundraising and awareness event

    Position Summary

The Sponsorship and Partnership Manager is the primary revenue owner for CPR Jukebox. This role is responsible for securing sponsorships, building brand partnerships and developing licensing opportunities that support both revenue goals and mission impact.

This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone who enjoys building relationships, crafting compelling partnership proposals, and closing meaningful deals. You do not need nonprofit experience to succeed in this role. If you have sold sponsorships, media, experiential marketing, or brand integrations in sports, entertainment, or related fields, you bring the core skills required.

Simon’s Heart operates with a lean core team and a trusted network of consultants. Success in this role requires comfort working independently, collaborating closely with leadership and quarterbacking the revenue process from first conversation through signed agreement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sponsorship Sales

    • Secure corporate sponsorships for the CPR Jukebox Tour, including activations at festivals, sporting events, and community gatherings
    • Sell sponsorship packages for the CPR Jukebox Tour and Marathon, a twelve-hour Philadelphia-based fundraising and awareness event powered by students, music, and movement
    • Pitch and present sponsorship opportunities to corporations, foundations, and community partners

    Brand Partnerships & Licensing

    • Identify, pitch and close licensing opportunities with brands seeking unique marketing, community engagement, or employee activation experiences
    • Negotiate sponsorship and licensing agreements that deliver clear value for both partners and Simon’s Heart

    Relationship Development

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with sponsors, brand partners and event organizers
    • Represent Simon’s Heart and CPR Jukebox in meetings, presentations, conferences and selected industry or networking events

    Revenue Strategy & Execution

    • Collaborate with the Program Director and external consultants to develop sponsorship packages, pricing models, and collateral
    • Maintain an active sponsorship pipeline and work toward clearly defined monthly and annual revenue goals
    • Track performance metrics and provide regular updates and forecasts to the Program Director

    Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings strong sales instincts and the character to build partnerships rooted in trust, alignment, and shared value.

    • Proven success in sales, sponsorships, partnerships, media, or brand marketing with a track record of closing thoughtful, mutually beneficial deals
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills grounded in credibility, preparation and follow-through
    • Comfortable engaging corporate decision-makers, marketing leaders, and event organizers with confidence, clarity and authenticity
    • Able to translate creative concepts into funded partnerships while maintaining alignment with mission and brand integrity
    • Self-motivated and effective in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment where initiative and ownership matter
    • Organized, disciplined and accountable with the ability to manage a pipeline and priorities without heavy oversight or infrastructure
    • Collaborative by nature, comfortable working closely with leadership, consultants, and partners in a lean organization
    • Demonstrates integrity, empathy and good judgment when representing Simon’s Heart and CPR Jukebox externally
    • Nonprofit experience is not required
    • Willingness to travel occasionally; most work can be done remotely

    Compensation and Benefits

    • This role includes a competitive base salary and a performance-based bonus. High-performing team members can expect total annual minimum compensation of $50,000 with a generous bonus plan based on achievement of clearly defined revenue and partnership goals.
    • Benefits: Health benefits, flexible work environment, generous vacation time, and bonus structure
    • Reimbursement for approved travel and work-related expenses

    Why Join Us

You’re strong at sales and you want your work to matter.

Simon’s Heart began more than twenty years ago following the death of Simon, a seemingly healthy baby boy. Since then, the organization has educated millions, advanced prevention strategies, and helped make communities safer for young people.

This is the first hire in this role. You will help shape how CPR Jukebox grows, how partnerships are built, and how revenue supports lifesaving impact. Bring your curiosity, integrity, empathy, and drive. Help turn meaningful connections into measurable change.
